Ferdotti Motor Services has been highly commended at the 2025 Automechanika Birmingham Garage Awards, cementing its position as one of the UK’s leading independent garages.
The family-run West Bromwich business, established over 40 years ago, received the accolade in the ‘Garage of the Year’ category at the sold-out ceremony held during Automechanika Birmingham on 11th June 2025.
Hosted by the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF), the awards attracted hundreds of nominations across ten categories, celebrating excellence and innovation within the UK’s automotive sector.
Mark Field, Chief Executive of the IAAF, praised all finalists at the ceremony: “These awards recognise the passion and progress happening on the ground, in workshops up and down the country. We’re proud to be representing a growing number of garages who continue to give back to our sector.”
The awards judged garages on multiple criteria including technical expertise, customer service excellence, community engagement, and business innovation – areas where Ferdotti has consistently excelled throughout its four-decade history.
This year’s ceremony was particularly significant as it marked the awards’ transition from a niche industry event to a major celebration of automotive excellence, with the event completely selling out months in advance.
The 2025 awards saw increased participation, with more entries and attendees than previous years, demonstrating the growing strength and recognition of the UK’s independent automotive aftermarket.
“We’re absolutely delighted to receive this recognition from the IAAF,” said Ferdotti Managing Director, Timothy Guidotti. “This highly commended award reflects the dedication of our entire team and our commitment to providing exceptional service to every customer who trusts us with their vehicle.”
