A Mini Bus Class V MOT test, which stands for Ministry of Transport test, is an annual assessment of a mini bus’s safety, roadworthiness, and environmental standards. It is a legal requirement in the United Kingdom for mini buses that are more than one year old.
The purpose of the Class V MOT test is to ensure that mini buses meet the minimum standards for passenger safety, emissions, and overall condition required for public service vehicles carrying 9-16 passengers.
Certified technicians carry out the Class V MOT test, inspecting various components of the mini bus to assess its overall condition and compliance with passenger vehicle regulations.
